How to install DWS

DWS is an object pascal scripting language that you can use with GLScene. The following is the steps needed to install DWS:

1. Download the DWS2 CVS version of DWS from:

www.skinhat.com/GLSceneDemos/dws2.zip

or from CVS at http://www.dwscript.com/

Dont download the latest dws2.zip version from DWS downloads. It must be the CVS version.

2. Unzip the dws2.zip file and if you are using Delphi 6 then install dcldws2.dpk from the zips Delphi6 directory. Likewise for Delphi 5 and 7.

3. Once you have DWS2 installed, install the DWS for GLScene package. If you are using Delphi 6 then double click on the GLS_DWS6.dpk in the GLScene Delphi6 directory and install.

4. If you run the CVS 'scriptingbasics' demo under the folder 'scripting' you should find that the demo works.
