Special effects such as fog, fire, lightening.

Beer

  • Demonstrates the TGLPerlinPFXManager particles.
  • A [=PerlinPFX=] is used for the foam, a simpler [=PolyPFX=] for the bubbles waterplane.:
  • This is the beer we have all promised to Eric.

Boom

  • Demonstrates the TGLFireFXManager ring explosion method.
  • Using FireFX for fire/smoke trails and particle-based explosions with:
  • isotropic and ring (3D) explosions

Candles

  • Demonstrates the TGLFireFXManager
  • It is made up of a revolution-solid "birthday cake" with three candles (FireFX).
  • Wind is simulated with Firedir

Fire

  • Demo for FireFX with the burning fire effect (particle based).
  • A small sphere burns while a torus spins around it

Mesh Explosion

  • Exploding a mesh in its many triangles:
  • using TGLBExplosionFx to explode a simple 3DS mesh

Motion Blur

PFX Gallery

Shadow Plane

  • Simple projective shadows using the shadowplane component.:
  • Also has higher quality plane lighting through plane tiling:

Shadows

  • Demonstrates dynamic shadow casting with TGLZShadows zBuffer-based shadow maps.
  • Uses [=GLzBuffer=], adjusting shadow map properties.

Shadow Volumes

  • Rendering shadows with the TGLShadowVolume component.
  • Experimenting with [=ShadowVolume=] modes and options

Thor

  • Using ThorFX for simulated electric arcs.:
  • Allows experimenting with wilderness, vibrate and other parameters:

Trail

  • Demonstrates trail object. Shows blur following a moving sphere.:
  • Simulates collision with distance limitation.

Warping

  • Warping images with the hep of a TGLHeightField.:
  • Working with the camera in 1-1 orthogonal mode, saving viewer content to a file

Water Plane

  • Waterplane
  • Demonstrates TGLWaterPlane with rain drops in a fountain
  • Ocean Water Plane
    • Water plane has been modified to give smooth waves like you'd see on a calm ocean or lake
